Hello, Huskies! My name is Heidi Tremaine and this is my first year as the Physical Education teacher at Highland Elementary School. I was born and raised in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where I was part of the seventh generation to live on the family farm. My family owns about 50 Angus and Simmental cattle and my older brother, younger sister, and I enjoyed being members of the local 4-H and FFA organizations while growing up. I attended college at Indiana Tech and played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse during my time there. In 2020, I decided to move out to Colorado with my dog, Zeke, to experience all of the activities that the mountains have to offer. I enjoy hiking, biking, paddle boarding, camping, backpacking, and frequenting local coffee shops with friends. I can’t wait to make lasting memories as a member of the Husky Pack!
