• Writing (ECAW - Every Child a Writer)


    Similar to reading time, we start the class together writing a story following the current learning targets. Once we finish setting the tone for writing expectations, students are broken up into 4 groups to follow the same rotation schedule as reading. Students start a writing prompt with me, finish it independently (following the same learning targets we learned together), work on writing/grammar/spelling related activities independently, and work on Spelling City on the Chromebooks.
