    The Highland High School Weight Training program provides a variety of experiences that will enable students to develop a positive attitude toward health-enhancing physical activities and behaviors throughout their lifetime. In Weight Training students will become familiar with the five components of physical fitness: Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Aerobic Endurance, Flexibility, and Body Composition. Students will gain knowledge of these components through various activities including: aerobics, running, Tae-Bo, Pilates, Weight Training, Circuit Training, Stretching, Plyometrics, and Fitness Testing.
