About Me!

Hello Huskies,

This is my 13th year at Highland Elementary School. I love being a Husky! I enjoy teaching 5th graders language arts, social emotional learning, and how to be a successful 21st century learner. My favorite part about being at Highland is the lasting relationships I have built with students and their families. 

I earned a bachelor's degree in business marketing in 2004, and a master's degree in elementary education in 2014. During the ten years in between, I was a stay-at-home mom. My husband is named Bill and we have been married for 22 years. We have two boys: Ryan, who is a junior in college and Brad, who graduated high school in May and is looking into learning about welding.

In my spare time, I love boating, camping, fishing, hiking, shopping, painting, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.

I am looking forward to a great 2026-2027 school year!
