Hi! My name is Jennifer Ettema.

This is my third year teaching 7th and 8th grade science at Highland, and I’m excited for another year with my students. I enjoy helping students explore the natural world through hands-on learning and critical thinking. I’m a proud UNC Bear and earned my bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and master’s degree in secondary education. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time in nature, exploring new places, cooking, and working on creative projects.
