Welcome to Highland!

 

Highland is truly a special place, and my favorite part will always be our students—their smiling faces, great jokes, and wonderful stories fill our days with so much joy. I love watching them grow as they tackle reading, figure out tough math problems, and learn the value of teamwork. Our kids are simply the best! 

 

We are also lucky to have an incredible staff; our teachers love collaborating, and not a single day goes by without laughter in the halls or teamwork in the classrooms. At Highland, we take care of each other because we are a true village.

 

When I am not at school, I am usually running around with my family. My husband works for the Denver Fire Department and drives Engine 24 through the city streets. We have two high school boys: Declan, a senior who dreams of playing college baseball, and Cullen, a freshman who wants to play every high school sport possible. Our home is completed by our two dogs, Charlie and my little golden retriever sidekick, Ollie. 

 

I hope you love Highland as much as I do! It is an amazing place to be, and as we look ahead to opening our new K-8 school in the fall of 2027, there are so many exciting adventures on the horizon.
