About Me!

Hello!

I am originally from Utah but I moved to Colorado in 2022 from Washington. I grew up around agriculture and still have strong connections to it. My husband and I have three kids who all attend Highland schools, we also have a dog, cat, and too many chickens to keep track of. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling and experiencing new places, working in my yard and garden, and participating in most outdoor activities. When I have some down time, I like to read, watch movies, or play games with my family. 

 

I teach High School Math, but taught for two years at the Middle School before moving to the High School. I am a dedicated educator who is passionate about helping students grow both academically and personally. My goal is to create a positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to challenge themselves, learn from mistakes, and build confidence. I enjoy being around the students and getting to know them, I believe all students should feel important, safe, and seen. I love my job! 

 

Living in the community and working at the High School has given me the chance to build a strong connection to this area. I am a High School Track and Field Coach, Middle School Volleyball Coach, and Student Council Class Sponsor, I enjoy being part of the spirit, traditions, and activities that make our school a great place to be.
