About Me!

Welcome Back  2nd Grade Families! 
I am extremely excited to begin the school year and look forward to getting to know your children! 
Let me introduce myself: I am Mrs. McIntyre This is my seventh year teaching second grade and my twelfth year at Highland. This community is a very special one and I am grateful to be a part of it.

I look forward to our new adventure! As with every new adventure there may be some unexpected things. Together we will navigate the unexpected. The most important way to make everything work well is communication. I will do my best to communicate with you about any changes or important information that you will need to know as soon as I can. 

There is so much to learn in second grade and your children will start to become even better scholars. Together we will navigate all this learning and figure it out!
I know that we are going to have a fabulous year and together we will learn so much! I passionately believe that collectively we can help your child reach their full potential!

¡Bienvenidas de nuevo, familias de 2.º de Primaria!
Estoy muy ilusionada por comenzar el curso escolar y tengo muchas ganas de conocer a vuestros hijos.
Permitidme presentarme: soy la Sra. McIntyre. Este es mi séptimo año impartiendo clase en 2.º de Primaria y mi duodécimo año en Highland. Esta comunidad es muy especial y me siento agradecida de formar parte de ella.

¡Estoy deseando que comience nuestra nueva aventura! Como en toda nueva aventura, puede que surjan algunas situaciones inesperadas. Juntos sabremos afrontar lo inesperado. La clave para que todo funcione bien es la comunicación. Haré todo lo posible por comunicaros lo antes posible cualquier cambio o información importante que debáis conocer.

Hay mucho que aprender en segundo curso y vuestros hijos empezarán a convertirse en estudiantes aún mejores. ¡Juntos recorreremos todo este camino de aprendizaje y lo iremos descubriendo!
Sé que vamos a tener un año fabuloso y que juntos aprenderemos muchísimo. Creo firmemente que, entre todos, podemos ayudar a vuestros hijos a alcanzar todo su potencial.
