About Me!

Hello Huskies!

My name is Sam Patterson, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! We are going to have a lot of fun in 3rd grade! This is going to be a busy and exciting year as we learn and grow together. This is my fifth year at Highland Elementary, and I feel lucky to be part of such an amazing community and team. 

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband and kids. My son is 24 years old and is a US Navy sailor stationed in Virginia; I also have a 21 year old daughter in college, and my youngest son will be in the 9th grade this year. 

My main goal is to create a family of learners who encourage and support one another so that we can all be successful. I am looking forward to getting to know you this year!
