About Me!

Hi Husky families! 

My name is Stephanie Wartenbe. This will be my 13th year as a first grade teacher at Highland Elementary. It is important to me to create a safe, caring, and fun classroom for my students. First grade is a pivotal year in your child’s education. They become fluent readers, creative writers, critical thinkers, and mathematicians. We will grow their independence skills as well as work in groups on projects. I look forward to meeting your family and growing with you this year!
