About Me!

Hello! My name is Alex Pierce and I am teaching physics, chemistry, and geometry here at Highland High School. I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota - Duluth with a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Teaching Physical Science with a minor in Physics. After graduating, my fiance and I moved to Fort Collins so she could attend grad school at CSU.

 

I love being outdoors, playing hockey, watching all Colorado sports, and spending time with my fiance and puppy.

 

I think a hands-on science experience is extremely important in a high school setting. My classes are extremely lab - oriented where students learn science through discovery and experiences.
