About Me!

Hi There! My name is Danna Lewis and I am excited to join Highland Middle School and to teach English Language Arts. I have a passion for serving, teaching and all things reading and writing. I have twenty years of experience in education as a college administrator and business professor. In the Spring of 2023, I completed my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration and hold a Masters in Higher Education. My focus is and will always be supporting and working with students as they transition to college and career. Sixth grade is a pivotal year, and I am focused on building your students vocabulary and building upon your students reading comprehension.
