About Me

Hi Highland Community!! My name is Jordyn Chance, I am the current half agriculture half science (mostly earth Science) teacher. I teach at Highland High School and Middle School. I recently finished my masters degree from CSU in Agricultural sciences. I have lived in Colorado for 6 years now, however my family and I spent every year from June-September in Walden as we shipped our cattle out here to summer on the grass.

I love to ride horses and rodeo, hang out with my cat, do anything outside, or hang out with my friends. I am a firm believer that especially in agriculture and science the best way to learn is to do. The more hands on experiences, labs, field trips, etc. that the students can partake in, the higher chance they have at understanding the concepts I am trying to teach.
