About Me!

Hello, I’m Mrs. Navarro, and welcome! 

I’m so excited to begin this school year with your little learners. This is my third year at Highland. I spent my first two years as a kindergarten paraprofessional, and this is my first official year as a kindergarten teacher. I’m thrilled to continue doing what I love in a classroom of my own!

 

As a proud Highland graduate, you’ll probably hear me say that I “bleed Green and Gold!” It’s such a joy to come back to the school that helped shape me and now have the opportunity to teach the next generation of Highland Huskies. Some of you may know me as Ms. Maddy, but I got married this summer and am now Mrs. Navarro! One fun fact about me is that I have a cat named after the beloved book character, Skippyjon Jones and a dog named Frankieweenie after the Halloween Movie.
