The Weld RE9 School District has a long-standing tradition of serving the communities of Carr, Nunn, Pierce, and Ault in Northern Weld County. Spanning over 450 square miles from the Wyoming border to the area south of Ault, our district is home to nearly 1,000 students in grades K-12 and employs approximately 160 staff members. We also collaborate with ABC Child Development Center as part of the Colorado Preschool Program, providing our younger students with a jump-start on their education and ensuring their future success.

Our dedicated staff delivers a standards-based curriculum designed to engage students in a rigorous and relevant learning environment. By utilizing data, we personalize instruction to meet individual student needs and support their future career aspirations. We are actively involved in the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS), and we invite you to review our results on this website, along with information from the Colorado Department of Education. Beyond academics, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including Husky Athletics and a vibrant fine arts program. Our district’s motto, "We Build Excellence," reflects our commitment to excellence in all areas, from technology and curriculum to athletics and academic foundations.

The community takes pride in the district’s advancements, including a 42,000-square-foot addition to our high school, renovations to our middle school gym, and the construction of a new transportation and maintenance facility.

Looking to the future, we understand the importance of preparing students for an uncertain world. As the value of education grows, we must work together with parents and community members to meet this challenge. Our strategic planning aims to boost student achievement by nurturing independent, creative, and critical thinking skills. This ongoing effort helps us prepare students for a competitive workforce and future educational opportunities.

I encourage you to become involved in the district through volunteer work, committee participation, or by cheering on our students at extracurricular events. Please do not hesitate to contact our offices if you have any questions or wish to get more involved.

Growing through education,

Troy Damman
Weld RE9 Superintendent
