Highland Home Game Fan Expectations
Hello Husky Nation,
As we prepare to begin our Winter Season, I wanted to send everyone a little info regarding fan attendance at Highland Home Events only. Every School will have different rules and expectations, and we will get that out to fans as soon as we can. Please, let’s do our best to follow other school’s expectations.
For home games, we will be asking that each participant (players and coaches), have four fans per game. I know some families are split, so those families will be allowed no more than six. We ask that after your child’s game is finished you leave the gym, but we are not going to be kicking anyone out unless the gym begins to fill up to the point that it becomes a problem. Parents, if you are bringing a younger sibling as your second guest, we will require you to keep them with you, we can’t have unattended children at games this year.
We are asking that Middle School kids who don’t have a sibling playing at the High School not attend High School Games, as well as High School kids who don’t have a sibling playing at the Middle School not attend Middle School Games. As of right now, we are asking Middle School Students who are not participating in the sport going on, to not attend the Middle School Game. We are trying to keep our numbers reasonable so we can continue to allow parents at our games.
As for masks, we are asking that you wear one, but you will not be forced to wear one. CHSAA rule is that ALL athletes wear a mask during games. One exception is for Wrestlers, they will not need to wear one while wrestling, but off the mat they will be required to wear a mask.
