Food Service Worker Substitutes
We are currently looking for substitutes for our Food Services Department at both the Ault and Pierce campuses. Interested parties should fill out and submit a short application through Applitrack. When the application is submitted, you will receive hiring paperwork via email. Once the hiring paperwork is completed, you will be added to our substitute list. Fingerprints and a background check are required for classified substitutes. Classified Substitute pay is $13.65 per hour. Substitutes are enrolled in a PERA retirement plan, earn 1 hour of paid leave accrual for every 30 hours worked, and receive free cafeteria meals.

High School Science Teacher
The Weld Re-9 School District headquartered in Ault, Colorado has an open position for a high school science teacher for the 2022-23 school year.
Primary Responsibilities:
Planning the curriculum and instruction of science classes
Monitor and evaluate student progress
Prepare educational records and reports
Sponsor student related groups and activities as assigned
Extra-duty activities as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in science. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching License.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $40,000-$54,500 per year depending on education, years of teaching experience, and professional development credits as of the time of this posting. This is a secretarial/administrative position that involves working with the Athletic/Activities Director and Principal in the daily operations of the main school office.
Primary Responsibilities:
General Front Office Management
Accountant for the school’s activity accounts
Prepare athletic records and reports
Monitor athletic physicals, fees, impact tests
Collect and monitor all information for athletic programs
Bookkeeper/accountant for all athletic gates, student athletic fees, and student events
Record and monitor weekly eligibility and notify parents
Monthly and annual reports
Daily announcements- written and PowerPoint
Forward sport schedules and team pictures with names to the North Weld Herald
Post sport schedules on the High School Athletic Paige
Organize annual academic awards ceremony and create award certificates

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $13.65-$14.40 per hour based on years of relevant experience. The district provides a choice of three medical insurance plans, with the district’s premium contribution valued at $653 per month with optional vision and dental insurance. The district offers an employee assistance program and the ability to purchase supplemental insurance and tax-savings products through a third-party vendor. All district employees are enrolled in a PERA defined-benefit retirement plan and employees have the option to enroll in a supplemental 401(k) or 457 plan as well. Life insurance and long-term disability coverage is provided by the district. Food Service Worker
The Food Service Department is hiring for a part-time food service worker for the Ault Campus cafeteria.
Primary Responsibilities:
Cutting and preparing fruits and vegetables for the daily salad bar
Adjusts recipes based on student counts for the day
Adheres to all Health Department guidelines to ensure food safety
Serves lunch while providing excellent customer service to students and staff
Assists with the clean-up after lunch has been served
Works with kitchen related equipment
Must work quickly and efficiently
Assists with production records
Assists in recording and maintaining temperature logs for food and equipment
Will rotate job duties with other cafeteria staff
Other duties as assigned
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $13.65-$13.90 per hour depending on experience. Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Department at the Weld Re-9 School District has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist maintenance director and assistants with responsibilities and projects as needed
Maintain and repair equipment associated with district buildings and grounds
Fulfill work orders for maintenance requests
Shipping and receiving
Small equipment operation (bobcat, mowers, lift, etc…)
Light janitorial work as needed
Event and athletic event set up and tear down as needed
Groundskeeping as needed
Any and all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prefer some basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing and HVAC
Previous maintenance experience preferred, but not required
Self-motivated
Team player
Ability to work well and communicate verbally and in writing with others
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $16.50-$17.40 per hour based on years of relevant experience. The district provides a choice of three medical insurance plans, with the district’s premium contribution valued at $653 per month with optional vision and dental insurance. The district offers an employee assistance program and the ability to purchase supplemental insurance and tax-savings products through a third-party vendor. All district employees are enrolled in a PERA defined-benefit retirement plan and employees have the option to enroll in a supplemental 401(k) or 457 plan as well. Life insurance and long-term disability coverage is provided by the district. This position receives sick and personal time, paid holidays, and has the option of becoming a member of the sick leave bank. This position receives 10 days of vacation time after the first year of employment. Maintenance staff get paid cafeteria meals.

Part-time Bus Driver
Primary Responsibilities:Operates assigned school bus in compliance with procedures contained in the school bus operator's handbook,
including all local state and federal laws.
Performs daily pre and post route safety inspections on assigned vehicle.
Maintains student conduct that insures the safety of all students.
Coordinates with supervisor to insure all required information is current and accurate.
Completes appropriate paperwork.
Attends training programs, meetings and in-services as required by the district or the state.
Administers first aid as necessary.
Reports all accidents/incidents immediately to transportation management or appropriate authorities.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Licenses or Certification:
Ability to Obtain a Colorado Commercial Drivers License
Pass a First Aid / CPR Course
Present a Motor Vehicle Report
Essential Environmental Demands:
Some dust and dirt, fumes and odors, noise, temperature extremes, and hazardous situations.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands, arms, feet, and legs.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop; kneel or crouch; talk and hear.
In the event of an emergency school bus evacuation, the employee may be required to assist in the removal of
children from the rear of the vehicle requiring moving/lifting of over 100 lbs.
Have the physical ability to make a 42-inch drop from an exit door.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Additional Duties & Benefits:
The contract period for bus drivers is the instructional calendar.
Occasionally, drivers will have the opportunity to drive in the summer.
These trips are usually offered to drivers who receive medical benefits.
Drivers are entitled to severance, as well as sick, bereavement, and personal leave.

Salary Range is $18.00-$18.90 per hour depending on experience.
