Hello Highland community!
My career in education began in Prescott Valley, AZ, moved to Granbury, TX and then to Fort Collins, CO where I landed at Poudre High School from 2011-2019. I've been a H.S. Physical Education, Health, and Science teacher, and have coached a variety of sports including Track & Field, Volleyball and Swimming & Diving.
I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and moved to the United States when I was 17 to attend Auburn University on an athletic scholarship. I transferred to the University of Utah and earned a BS Degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a BS in Physical Education Teacher Education. I earned my M.Ed. from Colorado State University in Education and Human Resources Studies in 2015.
This is my fifth year at Highland High School and I am looking forward to continued work with our students, families and community.
My family and I are avid sports fans and participants. We spend our weekends playing soccer and basketball games, playing golf, attending Brazilian jiujitsu competitions, and being outside.
